At a glittering awards ceremony held at the Four Seasons Sydney, Brighton Tyre & Auto from Brighton, Tasmania took out the prestigious Repco Authorised Service Dealer of The Year Award for 2011.


Brighton Tyre & Auto 2011 Dealer Of The YearThis fiercely contested award recognises the business that best represents the network's ideals for 2011 within the proudly independent Repco Authorised Service (RAS) network, with previous winners continuing to achieve outstanding levels of excellence across all facets of their business.

Mr David Lyall who nominated the team at Brighton Tyre & Auto for this award shares his reasons with us.
"After starting in business in early 2002, Tim and Kellie set out to make their business stand out from the rest aiming to provide the best possible customer service and quality of workmanship.   They set their standards high and joined the Repco Authorised Service network in 2004 as they saw this as an opportunity to further improve their offer to their existing customers and potential new customers. They knew the resources offered by membership of the RAS network would help them best meet the needs of their customers and establish their business as viable alternative to the franchised dealers."

Ensuring their entire team is professionally trained and equipped to do the best possible work is very important to Tim and Kellie. They invest considerable time and money in this to ensure their business is always at the leading edge. It is their total all round commitment to ensuring their business is the best it can be which earns Tim and Kellie of Brighton Tyre and Auto Centre the RAS Dealer of the Year 2011 Award.

Kellie Mazey, of Brighton Tyre & Auto says.  "We were initially so shocked to win, looking at the calibre of the other finalists; we didn't think we stood a chance. Now we have had some time to reflect on our win, we can look at our achievements with pride. The changes and investments that we have made to improve our business and train our team have really paid off. Not only with this award, but personally as well, our business is stronger and runs more smoothly, this has taken a lot of time and work, but now allows us to work on the business, rather than in it. This gives us the time to look at opportunities carefully to grow the business even further."

Tim Mazey adds. "What makes this award so special is the fact that a panel of our peers have voted for us. As a standalone independent mechanical workshop, to win this level of award is amazing. We have to thank David Lyall, our Business Development Manager, David Mathewson our Regional Manager and the entire RAS management team for the support that they give us, it is simply outstanding. We would not have been able to achieve this without our team. This award belongs in no small part to them and their dedication to achieving our vision for Brighton Tyre & Auto."

2010 Award winners Michelle and Andrew Temby of Temby Automotive paid tribute to Brighton Tyre & Auto. "What a deserving win." Said Andrew. "Michelle and I know how much time and hard work goes in to bringing a business up to this level. We are sure that Tim and Kellie will continue to work hard to improve on an already amazing business."
