Praise for Rodneys Mechanical Repair
Thank You For Coming To The Rescue
I would like to praise the owner and staff at the Repco Service Centre at Ringwood, Namely, Rodney Stafford at Rodneys Mechanical Repair Centre for coming to our rescue.
We were on a very tight schedule, having to come to Melbourne from Adelaide to pick up a Brand New Trailer (Jims Dogwash) and looking at a 16 hour turn around back to Adelaide but, after 8 hours on the road and 10 minutes from the Factory, and, while waiting at the traffic lights at the corner of Maroondah Hwy and Warrendyte Road, our car decided that enough was enough.
After managing to get the car off the road and into Eastlands shopping centre, I noticed the workshop and Thinking that I wouldn't have any luck at that time of day, decided to give it a try anyway. To my amazement, Rodney came across the road and proceeded to go over the whole car to find the problem which he finally did,(being the Fuel Pump), and before we knew what was going on, He had the car back to his workshop, up on the hoist and told us what it was and how long to fix it.
In the end, it was an easy fix on the car, only took about 2 hours, (pretty damn good I think), we were late to pick trailer up but that was reorganized, (yes we did get trailer in the end), but because of Rodneys great work, we only lost about 3 hours over the whole trip, So our thanks goes to Rodney and his staff and to Repco in general for coming to our rescue, His service went above and beyond the call of duty and that really made our day, so, "Thank You"
